“Shelama – The Work of Peace” will be released on all major platforms on 21 Sept 2025, the UN International Day of Peace. This album explores the words of Yeshua (Jesus) in his native Aramaic, blending song, chant, and spoken word.
The project is rooted in the rich Semitic concept of šəlāmā (shalom/salaam): not merely the absence of war, but rather a full spiritual presence of inner, communal and cosmic wholeness. It seeks to revive ancient sacred sound and language, as a living spiritual force.
Shelama reclaims the oral, experiential power of Aramaic, offering English translations and inviting deeper resonance with the gospel’s timeless truths through reconstructed language and sound. Combining traditional instruments with modern sonic technologies, it offers an immersive musical experience designed to connect ancient wisdom with contemporary longing.
Shelama – The Work Of Peace addresses the disconnection and fear of our times, offering a path of integration and deeper listening. Language shapes our world; and Shelama invites us to expand both through imagination, music, and a reawakening of mystical traditions that lie beneath and beyond the written word.
