
Nic Paton composes world music for media and film as well as neo-classical, spiritually-themed orchestral works.
His scores have appeared in numerous films, documentaries, music videos, and TV commercials.
Nic works extensively with international production music libraries, such as Opening Line Music Group in Nashville, USA, Evolution Media in the UK, Minds and Music in Germany. One of his specialties is African film and production music and has released 24 albums with premier African label Mama Dance.
Notable placements include The White Lotus Season 1. Recent films include Xoliswa Sithole’s “A Love Letter To South Africa” produced by San Francisco-based About Films, and Idalo Yethu by Sharon Farr and Shoot The Breeze Productions.
Since 2011 Nic has delivered over 50 well-received albums for 10 libraries in the UK, Germany, Australia and South Africa, in addition to a variety of corporate and commercial work.
